Charmaine and Steve are the hosts at Halletts Valley Hideaway - a luxurious self-contained cottage tucked away amidst vineyards on the outskirts of Tanunda, in the heart of the beautiful Barossa Valley. The property was rebuilt from the ground up in 2017, blending original timber beams and local stone with contemporary design to offer guests a haven of peace and comfort. Enjoy panoramic views of rolling hills, spectacular Barossa sunsets, kangaroos amongst the vines and blue wrens on the lawn.

This modern house is off the grid (solar, rainwater) and on top of the cliffs overlooking the magnificent Murray River. You will not get a better sunset picture! 20 minutes from closest towns of Morgan and Waikerie, enjoy the natural environment. For nature lovers you have an array of Conservation Parks within easy drive: Pooginook C.P. - wombats - 25km Birdlife Australia's Gluepot Reserve - 42km Hogwash Bend C.P. - Regent Parrots -19km Morgan C.P. -19km Dogs are welcome on approval.

1 Small Batch Accommodation

Accommodation with an environmental focus. Stay off grid, in a tiny historic hamlet. Situated between the Barossa Valley and the Adelaide Hills. This ongoing project utilises reused, recycled Nissan Huts (2 huts) to provide a cosy place to stay. 100% solar powered and filtered rain water. The rooms can be configured to suit a couple or twin share on request. All bookings receive a bottle of local Springton/Eden Valley wine and a cheese plater box from the Barossa Cheese Company.

Mt McKenzie Raspberry Farm

If you long for a quiet retreat away from the crowds and close to nature, Mt McKenzie Raspberry Farm could be for you. Perched on the hills above the North Para River in the south eastern ranges of the Barossa, you will be serenaded with the tweets from native birds, bleets from lambs and mesmerised by stunning sunrises and sunsets.
