The Blue Cow Barn - Betsie Cottage

The Blue Cow Barn Accommodation is situated on a working farm, 1km from Barrydale town centre. Our farm has gone through many seasons - from a fruit farm to a dairy farm and now a guest farm. Our cottages are named after the cows that were part of the dairy and Betsie is our most flamboyant and eccentric cottage and cow. You'll love this cottage as it is situated in the original farm barn that dates back to the 1960's and the gorgeous mountain view. This cottage also has access to the hot tub.

Zeekoegat Historical Homestead

Take a step back in time and sleep in a historical monument built in 1795 on this exquisite piece of farm property that has been lovingly restored. We practice regenerative farming and encourage biodiversity. This is a place to relax, reconnect and recharge. Experience the Farm Life at "Die Melkstal" Guesthouse! Our quaint guesthouse started its life as a three point cow milking parlor in the early 80's. The parlor has been converted into a three bedroom self catering guesthouse. Being situated 12km from the nearest town of Heidelberg Western Cape, Die Melkstal is fairly close to the Route 62 and the start of the Garden Route. With little to no selfone signal or Wi-Fi, you can relax and unwind without distractions!

The bedroom leads on to a lovely enclosed area where there is a dining table and comfortable patio furniture, here you can sit with the doors open or closed and enjoy the wonderful view. There is a fridge and microwave with tea and coffee making facilities. Through these doors there is a large patio area with a bbq and utensils. The views from this room are amazing

Marshall Farm is a traditional thatch family-friendly farmhouse in Vermaaklikheid. The farmhouse is 30 yards from the river, and has an enchanting beautiful wind free outdoor lounge area on a jetty connecting you to the river. The Duiwenshok River is one of the Overberg’s best kept secrets, approximately 3,5 hours from the bustle of Cape Town, this delightful hideaway is seemingly untouched by the hand of time.

The architect-designed house mixes inside/outside space with plenty of room for family.. Explore wetland, river and the Langeberg mountains. With plenty of comforts this spot is paradise for children, dogs and a retreat for adults.

Mr Albert was a true Gentleman. Read, write, relax in this luxurious Cottage based on two acres of Barrydale beauty. Go outside, immerse yourself in nature. The Cottage has an Inverter! Due to open waters this property is not suitable for children under 12.

Reclusive cottage Suurbraak

Just outside of Swellendam, peacefully nestled at the foothills of the lush and beautiful Langeberg Mountains, lies the picturesque little town of Suurbraak. On the other side of the river, is the quaint self-catering cottage of Bibi and Peter.
