Home is a perfect place to come relax after a long day at work or a day shopping on the square. We are surrounded by trees and deer love to come visit morning and night. The guest quarters are set up like a hotel with a full size fridge, microwave, and coffee pot. The space has its own entrance and guests have the ability to come and go as needed without disturbing homeowners.

The quaint and charming Sam Houston Cottage provides a front porch view of the historic granite monument sculpted in 1911 by Italian artist Pompeo Coppini to mark the final resting place of Sam Houston. Nestled next to one of two creeks on the property you can relax on the front porch, take nature walks, swim in Nelson Creek or sit beneath the pines and watch the stars at night from the private hot tub. The cabin is a studio setup with a comfy queen bed. The sun room has a daybed with a floor trundle. Coffee and bottled water provided.
