"The Granny Flat"

We have always called our wee cabin "The Granny Flat", even though it has never been used as one. With a night-store heater that keeps it cozy in winter; a double bed; bathroom and full kitchen. Very close to a beach that often has dolphins right inshore. Located on a large double section with the owner's residence next door. Enter through the shared gate to access your stand alone, one bedroom flat with everything you need. Then unplug, relax and enjoy the birdsong. Friendly dogs welcome.

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. With beautiful views of Taramea bay and a 2 min walk to the beach, this new and funky batch is the perfect spot to get away and chill. Watch the surf roll in on the sunny covered in deck, overlooking the landscaped garden which is fully fenced for the kids and furry babies. An outdoor shower for after sea needs, an outdoor bath to soak in under the stars and a fire pit to gather, roast marshmallows or yarn completes the perfect holiday package.

This charming cottage with stunning sea views is a perfect holiday home where you can stay warm in winter or enjoy outdoor summer living. There are two living areas with an open hallway leading onto a large decking area. The main bedroom captures the seaviews while the two other double bedrooms are bright and light. Warmth is guaranteed with double-glazed windows, good insulation, woodburner and two heat-pumps. There is also underfloor heating in some areas. Welcome to our home by the sea.

My beautiful home is situated in a quiet area in Riverton, 3 mins drive to surf or shops. What to expect: Ocean views Big garden & patio Basketball court Steamy sauna for your post-surf recovery Even if you’re not into surfing, there’s plenty to do. It’s only 5 mins slow stroll to the beach & 5 mins drive to Mores reserve (native forest walks). It’s not just a home, it’s a little paradise where you can relax and escape the busy pace of life, guaranteed to leave you feeling refreshed.

Situated on Rocks Hwy this is the perfect spot for sea gazing with unobstructed views of Taramea Bay and beyond. Three double bedrooms one with ensuite all have sea views. Fully equipped kitchen. Wheelchair accessible with a wet floor shower. Wrap around deck for all day sun. Plenty of off street parking, room for the boat. Just an easy 5 min walk to The Beach House restaurant and cafe, 2 minutes to the dairy. A hop skip and jump across the road to the safest swimming beach in the south.

Riviera Shack

Great little spot. 200m from the North beach & River. 5min walk to central Riverton - supermarkets & cafes. You maybe able to bring your dog - please check with me first. Dogs need to be kept on a lead around our yard at all times (because of our animals). And they also need to be able to stay off the furniture. The Shack (and yard) are not child safe, please let me know if you have a young child with you. We are also on the Te Araroa Trail, so great for backpackers.

THE WHIMSICAL STUDIO ALL Welcome

The Whimsical Studio is a light, spacious and private wee haven. Fully self-contained with a larger bathroom, awesome shower and a well equipped kitchen. Surrounded by nature with a covered deck and cute courtyard to enjoy the beautiful outlook across the paddocks towards Taramea Bay & beyond. We have an array of birdlife to observe and a resident Kereru. By night stargazing is easy with the wide open sky while listening to the creek, the sea, frogs & morepork.

Plum Tree Cottage

Relax with the whole family at this cosy 100 year old completely restored fisherman’s cottage. Situated in a peaceful semi rural area but within minutes of Riverton town centre. Stunning ever changing lagoon views with great sunsets. Fully equipped kitchen. Gas barbecue. Heat pump and double glazed windows. Gas hot water system ensures plenty of hot water. Within walking distance of Aparima Restaurant & Bar. While pet friendly the garden is not fenced off.

Colac Bay Beachfront Bach with Hot Tub

You won’t forget your time in this raw & unique, memorable place. Watch the surfers from your bed or hot tub. See the Hector Dolphin's catching the waves with them. The 60m2 bach is new, 30 meters from the well known Trees surf break at Colac Bay and warm as toast all year round, well insulated, heating in all rooms and a cozy roaring meg fire. Set up with Wifi and an office desk allow you to work whilst watching the surf roll in. Pets on request
