Fully self contained kitchen with oven, fridge/freezer, Kureg coffee machine, microwave, toaster, and kettle. Tea, coffee, milk and muesli also. There is a dryer for guests use. Our place backs onto Wildlife Habitat Area. Out in the country but only 20 minutes from Cochrane and an hour from Calgary Airport. Come & enjoy GVR Retreat!

Beautiful rustic off-grid straw bale cabin surrounded by unspoiled nature and working ranch lands, located between Calgary and Canmore. Running water May-Oct, wood stove and old-fashioned outhouse. Cozy and simple with all the comforts you need. We lived in this little cabin with two toddlers for over a year while we built our house and it has everything you need to be comfortable. It is magical in the winter. Fun fact: A full length feature film was recently filmed here!
