The Nest at Camp Skoglund

Sitting 125 feet from the east shore of Echo Lake is the Nest at Camp Skoglund. A cozy cottage for two with all of the amenities you will need. Your deck provides a wooded view of the lake and we offer a fully equipped waterfront for your relaxation and fun on the water. A fire pit is also available. If you need lodging for more than 2, please inquire about our other cabin, Pop's (also on AirBnb). We are open seasonally starting in early June until Columbus Day or later depending on the weather.

Enjoy the Belgrade Lakes area at Long Pond. Depending on the season you can relax by a camp fire, walk, enjoy the shared beach which is a short 0.2 mile walk from the cottage, hike, x-country ski, snow shoe, kayak, canoe or boat and fish (salmon and bass). Regardless you'll wake up to a peaceful morning with birds chirping or coffee on the porch. The cottage is remote and the kitchen is equipped with the essentials. The cottage suits six guests with an additional cot available.

The Waterfront Cottage sits directly on the shores of Snow Pond, 15 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville and 1/2 mile from the Snow Pond Center for the Arts. Enjoy the BEST sunset views from the private dock and listen to the waves and loons at night. The private front deck is the perfect spot for a sunset cocktail after a day of swimming and kayaking from the sandy beach. You also have a private outdoor hot soaking tub and water view barrel sauna. Paradise!

Yours to enjoy - 2 person canoe, 2 person kayak, 2 kayaks, paddle board, fishing poles, and more! No motor boats please.

The house has a Deck and Docks, 8 foot by 10 foot floating Island, BBQ Grill. Lakeside Bon Fire Pit. Full bath, 30 feet from Lake! 2 entrances, 3 Kayaks, Fishing/Swimming. Nice neighbors including Camp Manitou, Matoaka and Somerset. Near Public Boat Landing & country store. I reside nearby, and will help with any issues.

Brand new Cozy Cabin on a small 181 acre pond. Enjoy the cabin feel of knotty pine and a big country porch overlooking the water. Walk in access to the water or ice in the winter.
