The Interior is mostly kitchen, followed by a bedroom with a comfy double bed & then a bathroom with an easy to operate sailboat toilet, a shower stall, washing machine & wardrobe.
Hiking & biking is right there. You can park your bikes in the kitchen or on the terrace.
If you like to cook, there's an oven, dough/pastry mixer, rice maker, orange juicer, toaster, cafe press, tea pot, etc - table & chairs for the terrace. Linens are provided & on land, there's a bbq. Sun Shades cover the windows.

I have used the houseboat as a workshop bakery at different times , so countertop space is abundant . Tea, paper towels, toilet paper, soaps & detergent, sugar, salt, olive oil, flour, etc are for your use. . And when possible, I'll leave my spelt & chestnut breads in the fridge for you . You can find me baking in Lezignan on Wednesdays & St Chinian on Thursdays & Sundays.

I am entirely flexible about check- in and out hours and will allow extended time when ever I can.
Bicycle rentals are nearby and they will drop off & pick up as needed or wanted. .
There is nice little shop, a bar/cafe (opens after 6:30 ) and 2 places to eat in the village.

Everything about the area is appealing. You are on a 352 year old canal - Canal du Midi . The terrace is nearly at water level. It is mostly quiet , the road is on the other side of the Canal & it is a small one. Houseboat Artis is moored by a huge Mulberry tree , Agave Plants & Pampas grass. A hiking path is just in front & the bicycles pass by on the other side frequently in season.

As I have always lived a spontaneous life , destiny becomes your very good friend. Nothing like floating in the river , instead of going against the current. Tranquility is abundant at the Houseboat and I leave you to your privacy unless you require assistance with something that cannot be resolved by text messages or phone.
