Remodeled house in quaint lakeside association with shared swim area and amazing sunsets. It is a quick 100 yards to the swim dock, but the house is not lakefront. Lake George is in upstate New York and has been named one of the most beautiful lakes in the U.S. multiple times. The house is in walking distance to village and beaches. Sleeps 8 adults.
The house is very close to the highway, the village, the bike trail and the lake. It is in a small, quiet association with a shared swim dock. However, the house is quite roomy, having 5 bedrooms and multiple gathering spots. Unfortunately, there is no boat dock available for guest use. You can pull a boat up only to load/unload. There are 2-3 window air conditioning units for very hot days, but the house does stay quite cool if you open windows at night for mtn air and close during the day to preserve the coolness.
Guests have full access to the house, with the exception of the attic. The garage is not available for parking because we have snowmobiles stored there. There is a second refrigerator in the garage. We move all our food there so you have a nice clean one in the kitchen. If guests need anything...ketchup, butter or salad dressing-- feel free to help yourself. It is all recently purchased.
Parking-- we have parking for three cars in our driveway. It is one behind the other in the driveway and one to the immediate left of those.
Please do not park on the small front yard as we just re-seeded. If you have more than three cars, please park along Washington St. Please note that there is a small drop-off (about 1 foot) between our driveway and the neighbor's yard. It is a small stone wall, but please be aware so you don't drive off that at night by mistake. There is not really a place to park a trailered boat unless you are only bringing one other car.
Please treat our house as you would your own. Limit of strict limit of 8 guests at any one time day or night--this includes anyone ages 2 and up. This house can sleep more, but we have a neighborhood rule about rentals. Please inquire ahead of time with any questions.
Please no cats- our son is highly allergic, but we allow up to two well behaved dogs who are cleaned up after each time. If more dogs are found to be at the house without prior approval, a fee of $50 per night per dog(all) will be held from deposit. We want to limit the number of dogs as we have had noise problems in past when people brought many dogs. We do not want to make money on dogs. Thanks for respecting this rule.
The houses are somewhat close together and the noise does travel, especially if people have the windows open at night. If you have a fire in the backyard, please try to wrap it up by about 11. We do have fans in the bedrooms to block any noise while we sleep, but it is rarely a problem.
-No jumping off the posts!
-Dogs must be leashed if others are around. People love dogs, but people don't always love being sprayed by the dogs when they shake after a swim. Use your judgment.
-The water is about 8 feet right off the dock front and about 3 feet to the right down the stairs.
-We have a number of chairs at the dock that say Pasek on the back.
-If you kayak or SUP, you must wear a life jacket. The LG sheriff will ticket you.
-It's a family dock so no foul language. Please limit glass at the dock. We have plastic wine glasses. Try to put bottled beer in a red cup. If glass ever broke down there, it would be tough to clean up to protect the bare feet.
-Be mindful that it is a shared dock with 17 houses so try not to spread out to take up the whole dock. That said, you may not see anyone at all!

We live 30 minutes away in Saratoga Springs. We will not be there for check in, but there is a hide-a-key magnet box in the mailbox next to garage. Do not hesitate to call or text if you need anything.
Hi there! We are a busy family of five who live full-time in Saratoga Springs, NY with our rescue dogs, Tex & Maggie. We actually moved to this small city to be closer to our happy place, Lake George. Saratoga Springs is a unique, fun town with a great main drag and lots of green space. The people are amazing and the horse racing is a lot of fun. We also love the community feel of our LG neighborhood nestled in the trees, while still being so close to the highway, lake and village fun. We love continuing to explore the endless secret spots of Lake George and the Adirondacks, from the many islands to the hikes and the restaurants, all while making friends along the way. We love to spend time in both places and share it all with others as well!
