My name´s Antonio and my apartment in the historical old town of Santiago de compostela is available to let. Perfectly central and close to all amenities (only a 5 minute stroll to the famous Cathedral), yet in a quiet green area where you can destress after a hard day sightseeing it boasts everything you need for a fantastic stay in this charming city.
The flat is situated in the heart of the beautiful old town of Santiago. Despite being in the centre of it all and close to all amenities, the flat itself is a quiet place to lay your head after a hard day sightseeing. It has been recently renovated and boasts all mod cons to make your stay as comfortable as possible (washing machine, hairdryer but most importantly WIFI and Netflix). The area has limitless possibilities when it comes to passing the time such as a wide variety of restaurants, the theatre, concerts, museums, historical buildings, libraries, the university and of course the famous market de abastos, the second most visited site in Santiago after the cathedral. It is here in front of the market (just a short 5 minute stroll from the flat) that you´ll find the train station should you wish to travel further out of the city.
The second floor flat, (no lift available in most buildings in the old town) is in a privileged position due to the fact that despite being in the centre of the old town it is surrounded by nature, close to the Belvis park, a lush green gardened area where you can relax on a sunny day giving you the best of both worlds throughout your stay.
This is a perfect getaway for a couple. The space offers one bedroom with a double bed (135 x 190), living room complete with a record player or guitar if you´re feeling musical, an american style kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge and the bathroom which includes a hidromassage shower.
Growing up here in Santiago I know it like the back of my hand and I speak English and Spanish. I am more than happy to help and advise if you need any assistance at all planning activities in the area such as hiking, city routes, cultural routes, trips to the spectacular galician beaches, tips on where to eat or drink or any other places of interest.
If you are looking for a quality flat, close to all amenities but peaceful enough to get a great nights sleep and near to nature where you can really get a taste of the galician way of life then this is the flat for you.
