The apart. is located at carrer Força, the main street of the historic quarter of Girona, in a mansion from 1703, the place where the 2nd synagogue of the jewish community was located in the 14th century. Completely renovated, it preserves old elements like stone walls, beamed ceilings, fireplaces, mosaic floor. New kitchen and bathroom, spacious living room and large bedroom. A few steps from the shopping center and a variety of restaurants, has all the amenities for a unique and special stay

The Old Town (Barri Vell) of Girona allows you to enjoy the historical sites, exceptional, without giving up the services of any modern city. It is a living neighborhood with neighbors who live normally, shops and other businesses, and therefore has its own life and dynamism of the day but also at night with some entertainment venues, bars, spectacular terraces where have a drink and great variety of restaurants.
We are at the heart of the tourist center of the city, close to the major sights, and very close to large green areas for walking and trekking and fully enjoy nature.
The neighborhood concentrates many of the good and varied cultural offer of the city, and often are organized, throughout the year, music festivals and cultural and sporting activities of all kinds; you can enjoy them very near our house!
If you enjoy cooking and eating at home, we are very close to both supermarkets and small grocery stores where you can buy local products. We recommend a visit to the central Market (also known as Lion Market), featuring vegetables, fish, meat, and all kinds of fresh and high quality mediterranean products. On Saturday there is also a weekly market of clothes in La Devesa, a large park that you can not miss!

Soc de Girona, Historiadora de l'Art i treballo en un museu. M'agrada molt viure al barri vell de Girona, especialment en una casa com aquesta amb tanta història (hi va haver la 2a sinagoga de la comunitat jueva al segle XIV), que em fa sentir que soc part d'aquesta història. Aquesta casa és de la família d'en Joan Carles, el meu marit, des del 1922. I juntament amb els meus fills Andrea i Pau volem compartir-la amb vosaltres.
