After living in Europe, the Netherlands, for ten years with my Dutch wife and little girl, I have moved back to my roots January 2016 and am living permanently at Peku Peku, Zanzibar. Having build Peku Peku from scratch, I am proud to welcome guests and make sure they enjoy their stay in our corner of the world.
I am relaxed, focused, creative and always busy and making plans.
I love listening to music (HipHop, etc.) and playing traditional African music myself. In the Netherlands I have written HipHop lyrics for a friend of mine and worked with him in a studio. I have studied at Bagamoyo Art School and like to make things myself. I love teaching my little girl traditional African dances. I like watching footbal on television and loved watching BBC series about nature. Unfortunately you don´t get the last a lot on African television.
The one thing I go by when meeting new people or start doing new things is: Never judge a book by its cover!
Peku Peku is paradise for me and my family and we hope it will also become paradise for others.
