Welcome to our Romantic Chalet in Sintra. This has been our family Holiday home for the past decades. You will enjoy our beautiful, charming and peaceful house. We are located only 600 meters down from the very centre of Old Town Sintra Main Square where the National Palace is located, a mere 7 minutes down and 12 up, walking.
Beautiful views, very sunny, you can enjoy your meals outside or read a book in the front pateo overlooking the valley and the palaces.

This space is part of our 3 storey house and is located on its ground floor. It is composed of a very large ensuite bedroom, one living room and one kitchen. Up front you have a very nice pateo as well with lovely views over the valley. The room is large and very sunny, with a window overlooking a beautiful valley in the heart of Old Town Sintra. The entire space is fully private and only you will have acess to any of the described areas - kitchen, living, dining and front pateo.

Guests have full use of the living, dining, kitchen and front pateo, besides the bedroom, with full privacy. No other guests will share any of those spaces.

We also receive guests in other parts of the house, or we may also be staying, mainly upstairs and in one independent room in the ground floor, so you will probably have company during your stay and may not be alone in the property. The only shared space is the entrance gate to the property itself, everything else is private, with separate entrances, so you will have full privacy.
Tourist Tax and Information Forms
Since March 1st 2019 the Council of Sintra has instituted a Tourist Tax which we must collect from every guest older than 13 years old. The tax costs 1 euro per day, per guest, and is due up to 3 nights. Guests must pay this tax in cash upon arrival. Please be ready with cash to pay this when you arrive.
Guests also need to fill a Government Form with information upon arrival and need to show us their passports or identity cards. This is mandatory and we will have the forms printed to be filled out when you arrive.

Very convenient, it's located only a seven minutes walk down from the centre where some of the main attractions lie (the Sintra National Palace, the Periquita queijadas and travesseiros, the Church of São Martinho, all the shops and restaurants and the transports to the palaces and castle), this is a place of peace, charm and simplicity.
A short walk from the heart of Sintra but at the same time totally secluded and protected from all noise and other tourists! :o)

Hi! We have this small family estate in Sintra where we have spent our holidays for the past decades. This is our family holiday home and we have a maid, Rosa, every weekday,
After you are checked in by either myself or Rosa, our maid, we won't be around. If you need anything just give us a call and Rosa is on premises on weekdays from 7:45am to 11:30am, and she will be glad to help.
