Our beautiful home overlooks the Columbia River! For this listing, our guests stay in a private space downstairs. This open floor-plan space also has a pull-out bed/couch to accommodate up to 4 guests, and a private TV, fridge, microwave, and bathroom. You can also come upstairs and enjoy our outdoor deck, in the morning with a cup of coffee!
We have a beautiful, hand-crafted home that has great outdoor space and very spacious.
You will have access to your private downstairs living room and bedroom, which are all open-floor plan, with a room divider if needed, and bathroom, and also share our living room, kitchen, sitting room, and both decks.
The City of Astoria charges a 9% transient lodging tax. This is factored in as part of the price of your stay.
Please be quiet if you're outside after 9:00. Our neighbors go to bed early and it's a quiet neighborhood. We also have another listing and may have other guests staying with us at the same time as you, so please be respectful!
When you stay with us, you are staying in our home with our dogs and cat. Aaron and I love to entertain and share our love for Astoria and are willing to share that love with our guests. However, if you prefer privacy and a quick stay, we can respect your privacy as well.
I would like to schedule a time to meet up and get checked in, so that I can show you around our home. Please message me for when you plan to arrive.
I am a 5th grade teacher at Warrenton Grade School and am in my 13th year of teaching. My husband, Aaron works at the Providence Medical Clinic in Warrenton and we have been together for 15 years and married for 10. We both grew up in Kansas and then lived in Florida for 8 years and Arizona 3 years, before moving out to Oregon.
We have 3 dogs (1 Lab, Loki, and 2 Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Rudy and Skeletor) and a cat, named Eddie. These are our kids and they love it here as well! We both love to cook, travel, hike, exercise, and we love wine and beer. Aaron is actually a home brewer and is quite the collector and we love to recommend awesome local breweries!
We are in our second year of living in the Astoria area, and we love it here and are happy to share our love for this area with visitors!
