Republicii Street is one of the most famous touristic places in the city. It is notable for its grand architecture of different styles. This is a pedestrian street with numerous shops, cafes and restaurants located in historical buildings. Here you will see examples of Baroque, Gothic, Rococo, and Empire architecture. The majority of them were built during the 19th century. The Romanian National Bank built in Jugend Style and Coroana Hotel in Eclectic Style are particularly worth examining.
