Zuma Beach is a quick, safe & easy 250 yard walk from the house with a very convenient crosswalk & stoplight.
The home has an incredible open floor plan which showcases an award winning chef's kitchen with a double Wolf range, sub-zero refrigerator and wine fridge. The Dining, Living & Media rooms all have designer furnishings (Minotti, Ligne Roset, Bertoia, Eames), floor to ceiling windows, and gorgeous ocean, sunset and garden views. Outside you will find 1 acre of landscaped grounds including a year-round heated pool, Jacuzzi, Zen garden and outdoor BBQ/kitchen/dining area. The house is equipped with two nest thermostats to control each end of the house, and an LG Steam Washer and Dryer. The media room has a 80" flat screen TV with DirecTV. World famous Zuma Beach is a quick walk (250 yards) from the house with a very convenient crosswalk & stoplight. The house and perfect for family members of all ages, and is a great spot to relax and enjoy the "Malibu Way of Life".
Guests will have access to most of the house and all of the exterior. We will keep one of the two Master bedroom walk-in closets as our owner's closet. Guests with 1-month or longer can request access to the garage for an additional fee, however there is plenty of parking within the driveway gates.
If we are unable to greet you upon arrival, we will have a friend or relative with an intimate knowledge of the house to show you everything you need to know. We will also be accessible by phone, text or email throughout your entire stay.
Over the last year we have proudly become 5 star Superhosts with outstanding ratings and reviews. Unfortunately, this has led other hosts to borrow our trademarked "Casa Pacifica" title. Our home has the location, the style, and the amenities that have made it a favorite among many high profile guests. Buyer beware, please rely on the AirBnb ratings and reviews.
While this house does have 4 bedrooms, it is best enjoyed by families or couples of 2-6 people. For this reason we have implemented different price tiers accordingly. We do implement an extra guest fee of $200 for additional guests after the first 4. Also, as with most of Malibu, we are on a septic system. For this reason we cannot accommodate more than 6 guests.
At the time of booking, please tell us a bit about yourself and any additional guests. We will only consider guests with previous positive reviews or references they can provide. The person booking MUST be the person staying at the house, no exceptions. Privacy and confidentiality are very important to us.
Please be mindful that the house has recently been remodeled and respect the home as you would your own. Please leave it in the same condition as you found it and let us know immediately in the case of any damage caused so we can work out a solution.
The pool will be heated for the duration of your stay and the Jacuzzi can be turned on when desired (do not forget to turn it off). Please do not reset the pool schedule or heat settings.
While the bedrooms are all nicely appointed, the sizes do vary. The master bedroom is very large with ocean views, a large bathroom, walk in closet, and office space attached w/ a desk and chair. Two of the guest bedrooms (same size each) are also quite large with en-suite bathrooms, garden & equestrian ring views and one offers a desk for a laptop as well as a TV. The 4th guest bedroom is smaller but offers a nicely remodeled en-suite bathroom and the best ocean views in the house. All bedrooms offer ample closet space. If you are traveling as a group of adults I would recommend discussing this amongst yourselves prior to booking.
Stays of 7 nights or more require and include 1x weekly housekeeping at our expense.
Stays of 31 nights or longer are exempt from Malibu City Transient Hotel Tax and require/include weekly housekeeping.
We also welcome yearly stays at $30,000 a month.
-Absolutely no parties, no smoking, and no pets. We do not allow weddings, events, filming or photo-shoots at our home.
-At the time of booking please state the actual and true number of guests who will be staying with you. If you reserve and pay for 2 guests and bring in 6, we will cancel the reservation and your payment will not be refunded.
-Non-booked guests are not allowed in the house without prior approval from one of us. There is a security camera monitoring the outside the gates, as well as the street so please follow the rules.
-Please contact us with the details of your stay prior using instant book. As per instant book guidelines if a guest does not abide by our house rules we have the right to cancel the booking. We cannot accommodate stays with more than 6 people.
-The person booking must be the person staying in the house, no exceptions.
-No sand or chlorine in the house or on the furniture. There is a pool bath that includes a shower and we request that you wash and dry off after exiting the pool or come home from the beach.
-Please respect the home as you would your own home and leave it in the same condition as you found it.
-While we love children, the house may not be suitable for yours. Please email us to discuss if you plan to travel with children under 6.
