My place is close to Seneca Lake, the Seneca Lake Wine Trail, Watkins Glen, Ithaca, The Cayuga Lake Wine Trail, The Finger Lakes National Forest, Taughannock Falls, Geneva, Wagner Vineyard, and Silver Thread Vineyard.
You’ll love my place because of the outdoors space, the light, the privacy, the dock, the lake front, the kayaks, the canoe, the fire pit, the deck, the view, and the stars at night. My place is good for couples, bicyclists, wine lovers, solo adventurers, and families (with kids).

Escape from the world at Caywood Cottage! You'll feel your worries melting away as you leave the pavement behind and wind your way past horses, an organic farm, and through 1.25 miles of vineyards before arriving home. This cozy cottage on a private, dead end gravel road (that we share with Silver Thread Winery!) features modern conveniences, wooded privacy and lake access for those wishing to sip, splash, and relax.
A short flight of stairs from our four-car parking area leads you to a wonderfully large deck. If you're able to tear yourself away from the view, the front door leads you into a bright, open great room. The beautiful eat-in kitchen opens to the living area with a leather couch and loveseat and a flat screen TV, with Netflix and a blu-ray player, complete with a wide array of videos for cinefiles of all ages. A closet full of games and books, help pass the occasional rainy day - or provide a welcome distraction after dinner before a night of campfire, S'mores and Riesling! Original hardwood floors bring clean character to the home and huge picture windows with breath-taking panoramic lake views escort the outside beauty in. Two cozy bedrooms, each with a queen size bed, join the queen size pull out couch in the living room in providing comfortable sleeping spaces for up to 6 adults!

Our neighborhood is a group of 17 cottages sitting on a picturesque bluff, tucked away at the end of a long gravel driveway. Sitting over a mile from the nearest road, the only noise you'll hear are the waves, wildlife, and occasional boat on the lake! Our road also services the lake front, allowing you to access the lake with no stairs to climb - a perfect way to get kids and gear down to the lake!
