Very charming apartment located at Lilla Hoparegränd in a house from the 17th century. Extensively refurbished and renovated in 2013. The original ceiling beams are preserved in the apartment.
The total living space is 48 m² and there are two rooms. It's optimal to accommodate two people, but fits up to four if you're comfortable with compact living.
On the ground floor is the living room, with windows facing the quiet alley. The living room is fully furnished with a new, spacious sofa bed (160 cm x 200 cm) that was installed on June 1st 2017. It has an extra mattress and is very comfortable. There is a TV with Chromecast and a DVD player, as well as a Wi-Fi connection. On the ground floor you'll also find the kitchenette and the bathroom.
The bedroom is downstairs, in the medieval valves, with a very comfortable 'Continental' bed (160 cm x 200 cm). The room is furnished with 'Howard 2' sofa set and a large wardrobe with plenty of space for clothes.
The bathroom, which also was renovated in 2013, has heated floor and is always equipped with clean towels, soap and a hair-dryer. There is a washing machine, a drying rack and a heated towel hanger (no dryer).
The kitchenette has a stove, microwave, fridge, kettle, coffee percolator and all necessary kitchen tools. You will always find coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, tea as well as dish soap in the apartment.

The stairs down to the bedroom are quite steep and not recommended if you have any trouble walking, balance or small children.

The apartment is perfectly located in Gamla stan, geographically in the middle of Stockholm, with the Central station just across the bridge northward, and trendy Södermalm across the bridge southward.
Gamla stan is the oldest part of Stockholm, dating back to the 13th century. Here you'll find many cosy cafés, restaurants and boutiques. There are two small supermarkets nearby where you can get groceries. A pharmacy is also located close by.
From Skeppsbron, five minutes from the apartment, you can take a boat or ferry out to the archipelago, or just to the opposite island Djurgården. There you'll find Skansen, a park with nordic animals as well as old farms and houses transported from all over Sweden and reconstructed in the park. The Tivoli Gröna Lund, Aquarium, Vasa Museum and Junibacken are on the same island.
