The air condition units within the apartment are very efficient whilst the installed ceiling fans are complimenting a quick cooling after off periods or may be sufficient already to feel comfortable.
I recommend for the summer months (May to September) setting the thermostat at 24-22 degrees Celsius while running it on stage 1 or 2 maximum. Beyond this period already 25 degree Celsius are more than enough to feel comfy.
However, there is no need to run any of the 3 separate chiller 24/7 just because everything is paid for, by your host. Kindly consider adequate utilization of A/C and ceiling fans during your stay. Your personal health and the environment will much appreciate this.

The check-in time is as of 15.00 hrs and check-out is 11.00 hrs. If these times cause you difficulty, please advise us at the time of booking. We cannot guarantee any changes can be made after the booking. Check-in and check-out times may be flexible to suit your travel plans but this depends on other guests checking-out on the day of your arrival and other guests checking-in on the day of your departure. Please ask us before confirming your travel arrangements.
For arrivals before 07:00 the booking must be made and held from the night before. For morning check-in after 07:00 there may be an additional charge which is determined by the check-in time. In respect to check in to all guests, kindly adhere to the checkout policy as agreed or you may be charged for consecutive whole day. Upon your departure from the apartment it is your responsibility to return all keys and remote controls for appliances that belong to the apartment. You will be charged a replacement value of lost items which will be deducted from the security deposit.
In accordance to Decree No. (17) of 2013 a guest staying within holiday homes premises as specified by Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, will be charged the “Tourism Dirham Fee" for each night of occupancy of a room. 20 AED per night will be collected upon check-in by a member of our team.
At your convenience, check in's can be offered around the clock as per the following conditions.

Key Hand Over & respective Charges
Office hours - Sunday to Thursday between 7 AM to 5 PM - No charges

After Office hours - Sunday to Thursday between 5 PM to 7 AM and Weekends - Friday and Saturday 24 hours US$ 30 will be applicable for each key drop off and pick up to or from the apartment.

This will be payable by the guest on arrival.

Jan's place is a nice, well maintained and clean apartment suitable for four persons. All relevant equipment like a dishwasher, washing machine, satellite tv, two bathrooms is available- everything you need for a relaxed vacation. It has a very good location, close to some restaurants and shops. Especially the Greek restaurant downstairs is worth mentioning. It has a nice roof terrace where they serve real authentic Greek dishes. The metro and tram are located a 5 minute walk from the apartment. Due to a big hotel opposite of the apartment building you have plenty of taxi's available. Unlike some other reviewers we had a good experience with the external company that took care of Jan's apartment. Upon arrival, Mani from BetterHomes delivered us the keys in the apartment building. Since we left on a Friday, we agreed that he would also pick up the keys upon departure. This would be against additional payment since Friday is not part of the working week in Dubai. We were aware of these additional costs but didn't have issues with it. All in all our stay at Jan's apartment was very positive and we can recommend it to everybody.

Everything was perfect in Jan's apartment and nothing to complain about at all. It has a good location, easy access and everything you need is around you such as restaurants, dry clean, supermarkets, etc. Furthermore, it's clean and the kitchen is well equipped. Yes, maybe as some mentioned regarding the need of shopping before you get in as it lacks some of basics to stay there, but it's not a problem as spinneys is just few steps away. It's my first time to deal with an apartment managed by an agent, but I didn't face Any problem at All regarding that as Jan was easy to communicate to, and he was making sure everything is going well the whole time, in addition to the fact that they're professionals. I do recommend the place for everyone!

We have a very pleasant stay at Jan apartment. The property is close to Dubai Marina Mall and Jbr beach, easy to travel everywhere. Communication was great. Another great things are roof pool and jacuzzi. I really recommend the place.

An ideal location near to most of the touristy places. View from the living room and balcony was amazing. Apartment was well furnished neat and tidy. Bathroom was provided with necessary amenities. Well equipped kitchenette. If you are checking in and checking out during office hours you don't have to pay extra for apartment keys. However outside office hour charges may apply. Otherwise this very beautiful accommodation is located in nice location.
