Due to COVID-19, Ireland has introduced a national lockdown, and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
Access to the tree house can be conducted by phone so you don't meet anyone. All contact surfaces are cleaned using dettol wipes and linen is washed at 60 deg.
This is a real tree house, fully insulated, 6m off the ground. It faces south with views of the city. It is situated in our garden but screened by trees giving privacy. It consists of a bedroom with a deck at the top level and a bathroom on the level below. Cork city centre is a 5 min. walk. Access to the city is via a STEEP HILL.

This structure is a real tree house and is designed to move in strong winds. It has with stood hurricane Ophilia so there is nothing to worry about. The accomodation is unmatched in Ireland whereby it is situated in an urban oasis in a large,quiet garden but is high in the leafy tree tops with a panoramic view of our beautiful city.
The sleeping accomodation is fully insulated to a modern spec., with heating suitable for all seasons. It has a double bed with superior quality linen. There are tea and coffee making facilities available in the room and breakfast consisting of warm croissants and preserve are delivered directly to the deck in a basket by a pulley from ground level maintaining your privacy. lce bucket is available on request(URL HIDDEN)Deck furniture with cushions and blankets are situated on the deck but may be brought indoors pending weather conditions(URL HIDDEN)On the lower level is a circular shaped wetroom with shower, toilet and wash hand basin. To access the wet room, one needs to walk down a spiral stairway IN THE OPEN AIR in true tree house style! Bathrobes and flip-flops are provided for your comfort.

Ted is our over friendly family puppy who is a mix between a german shepard and a labrador he hangs out in the garden and is friendly and good natured but very lively. He can be put indoors on arrival on request if dogs are not your thing.

Our accomodation is situated on St Patrick's Hill which is a five minute walk down hill to our city's shopping area with lively pubs, night clubs, restaurants, shopping centres and supermarkets.

My name is Richard. I live in Cork City within a few mins walk from the apartment. I am married to Catherine and we have three children, two boys and a girl. I work in property. The family love to holiday in Kerry and we enjoy water sports- pier jumping, sailing, surfing and swimming. When we can, we love to snow board and ski in France and Norway but that doesn't happen as often as we would like. At this point in our lives we're just busy with family things-school runs, homework, rugby and hockey matches etc. We have just begun Airbnb.
