Welcome to Casale Pundarika! An oasis of peace and silence on the Tuscan hills of Riparbella (Pisa) only 20 minutes drive from the Etruscan Coast and its great beaches.
The self-catering apartment is part of a larger country house set on a dominant position overlooking the Cecina Valley and surrounded by a magic Mediterranean forest. The views over the valley and, within walking distance, over the Tuscan Archipelago and Corsica are breathtaking! We also have a panoramic outdoor hot tub!

• The last stretch of road is partly unpaved and uphill, but any car can transit (we had from Porsches to Harleys over here!)
• Under exceptional circumstances it can happen that we cannot assign this exact apartment but we will inform you in advance and offer an upgrade to another apartment (but worry not, they're all great!)

Surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean forest, Casale Pundarika is a Tuscan farmhouse turned into a vacation rental and center for groups and retreats. Recently renovated, it is located in a magical place 2 kilometers from the village of Riparbella (PI) on the Maritime Hills a few kilometers from the beaches of the Etruscan Coast.
The house is in a secluded position ensuring maximum privacy and tranquility to our guests. However, the village of Riparbella is only a few minutes by car or even on foot. Guests have access to the forest and its trails, to a magical stream nearby, to a large terrace/solarium with 200 square meters of lawn, hammocks and deck chairs and rooms for yoga and meditation or other activities.
Casale Pundarika is a place of peace and contemplation, ideal for those who want to leave behind the stress, the bustle and the noise of our daily life and surrender to the sounds of nature and enjoy life with friends and family . It was formerly a Buddhist center and was chosen precisely due to the particular quality of the surrounding silence and the purity of the air, which made it an ideal place for meditation.
Nearby, the Etruscan Coast on the Tyrrhenian Sea offers many types of beaches, sandy, rocky, Family, Dog, naturist (FKK) and are all easily accessible from the house. This stretch of coastline has been awarded with the Blue Flag by the European Union for the cleanliness of its waters and the quality of services offered.
Within a few kilometers from Riparbella, you will find many picturesque medieval villages perched on the hills overlooking the sea or overlooking the Val di Cecina. Among these Montescudaio, Casale, Guardistallo, Bibbona, Castagneto Carducci and the beautiful Volterra. The art cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa and Lucca are easily reached both by car and by train.

We are two friends, Daniela from Austria and Giambattista from Italy, managing this magical place in the middle of nature. It was a former Buddhist centre, and one is usually struck by the quality of silence and the special energies all around. We host regularly yoga retreats, meditation weekends and other events, so if your preferred dates are not available chances are that there's an event in program and you can still inquire for availability. We love to share Casale Pundarika with people and animals alike. We are well traveled ourselves and now we enjoy hosting like minded travelers, cooking, eating, laughing, and all the happy things of life and we'd like to to share this spirit with all our guests and friends. We live onsite on a detached house and we are always available to interact with the guests and give good suggestions for places to go also off the beaten path to experience the best local food, the best wines or the nicest beaches in the area. We live on the property all year round in a separate house from the main House. We always welcome personally our guests and we are present for any problem or need.
We are always happy to give good tips about the surroundings, food, wine, beaches and all the beautiful things of the Tuscany countryside.
We can also arrange for you Ayurvedic treatments, private yoga classes, meditation walks, wine tasting and more!
