'Mimosa' is a beautiful characteristic house, with spectacular views out across the sea to the medieval castle of Castelsardo, is set on the outskirts of the hillside hamlet of Azzagulta. Situated in the magnificent area of Gallura in the North of Sardinia, within easy driving distance of the many and varied coves, bays and white sand beaches of the crystal clear seas of both “Costa Paradiso” and “Costa Smeralda”. The house is 9 minutes from the fabulous long white sand beach of Badesi Mare.

The house, which we lovingly restored to retain the original characteristics whilst giving all the comforts, consists of large lounge/dining room with sofabed and wood burning fire and kitchen area with all facilities for cooking. Master double bedroom, 2nd double bedroom, 3rd bedroom with twin beds, and a large, beautiful bathroom with all conveniences inc. a huge open shower. There is a washing machine and laundry area; a second beautiful bathroom with large open shower in the rocks. There is also a T.V., stereo, with USB connection in the lounge, and a broadband Internet connection. The house has its own courtyard garden at the front with a large table for eating "al fresco", a new super BBQ and a sun lounge area, with a comfy Rattan Sofa.

There is a thermal section of river nearby, where one can bathe in the healing waters, take a mud bath or just relax on the rivers beach and soak up the wonderful atmosphere, there is also a Thermal swimming pool with a water massage pool. The local villages of Viddalba and Badesi are 5 minutes away in each direction, and between them you will find all facilities. Badesi is an important wine region and there are several 'Cantinas' where you can taste and buy the local wines. Must also mention the gelateria.
Other Activities: Thermal Spa of Casteldoria (10 mins,) Where you can take some spectacular therapies, relaxing massages and chill.
The water park at Isola Rosa is worth a visit with the kids.
A trip to the oak forests in the mountains will reward you with Porcini and various other mushrooms in season.

Visit the various Ancient Sites, Sardinia has more buildings of two - five thousand years old than of 300 years old, fascinating.
Canoeing on the lakes of the River Coghinas is a beautiful experience.
