For the checkin, I asked you your arrival time so that we can wait for you to welcome you. usually the guests say in advance when they will arrive and the host wait for them at that moment. This is logic, this is how it goes for checkins. You should anticipate and give these kind of important information in advance. Unfortunately at the moment that you arrived there was no one at the apartment. I helped you by phone, to find a way to enter quickly in the apartment instead of waiting for us outside during one hour and now you are complaining ?
The neighbors complained because your children were making noise in the middle of the night by running. In the law in France, from 22:00, it is not allowed to make noise which can disturb neighbors , even inside your own appartement, even noise made by children ... Maybe you did not consider it as big noise but I let you know that when someone is ruining , the noise of feet jumping on the floor can make big noise for the people who are leaving in the apartment just on the floor down. The neighbors could hear your children feet sound trough their roof in the middle of the night.
It is why to avoid all those inconvenience I clearly mentioned in our rules, that guest should not make too much noise. We received some guests with children and there were no problem with our neighbors. I understand that you were in jet lag but you should help your children by doing another kind of game instead of letting them running in the middle of the night in the apartment.
Balconies and windows by definition, are opened … Everybody everywhere knows that balcony is not safe for children. If balcony is completely closed, it is not more a balcony, it is a room. It is the responsibility of the parents to take care of their children everywhere. We have a child of 2 years old, living in that apartment there is no problem. In our apartment description on airbnb, it is clearly mentioned that there is a balcony. On the pictures also you can see that we have big windows. You know that before booked the apartment, so why are you complaining about that now?
In your profil, I saw in another host comment about you, that you use to complain for everything and nothing… I can understand that you did not like the apartment, it is your right, but it is not a reason to say wrong.
If you know Paris a little bit, you will know that moving inside Paris by metro, takes lot of time. If you wanted to live at 2 minutes from Eiffel Tower you should have booked a room there, with a price much more higher.
