Canova is near the Toce River, just few minutes from Domodossola. The medieval village consists of a dozen of stone houses builded from 1200 to 1700, all restored. The accommodation is an old restored stable, aged 1672, used for the horse change.

After fifty years of neglect, the village of Canova has been completely restored by us and a group of friends from Sweden, America, Switzerland and Great Britain. All artists, painters, sculptors, musicians, singers.
The rich area that surrounds the village is formed by five valleys that allow mountain lovers the possibility of small and large excursions and, in winter, to ski on the numerous cross-country and downhill ski fields. The enchanting paths that lead to the mountain pastures can be covered on foot, running or mountain bike.
The characteristic little train of the "Vigezzina" connects Domodossola to the Canton of Ticino in Switzerland, crossing the Valle Vigezzo and the territory of the Cento Valli.
Excursions are also possible in the Val Grande National Park, visits to the Toce Waterfall, the highest in Europe, to the Sanctuary of Re, to Lake Maggiore and its islands.

Con mia moglie Anna abbiamo una manifattura artigianale dove riproduciamo antiche ceramiche prodotte nell'Ottocento nella nostra valle. Inoltre mia moglie è scultrice ed io designer. Amiamo molto viaggiare sopratutto in barca a vela. Ci circondiamo di cose belle e cerchiamo di vivere in maniera semplice lontano dal caos della città. A me piace cucinare soprattutto piatti italiani regionali italiani. Adoriamo camminare molto in montagna, visto il grande territorio che ci ospita "Le Valli Dell'Ossola"
