In preparing this house for guests, our goal has been to make it a place of refreshment and rest. Providing the basic amenities modern guests have come to expect, while maintaining an atmosphere of days gone by. We hope our guests feel welcome and at peace during their stay with us.
We are happy to welcome families with small children and/or infants, but want to make you aware that the house is not specifically prepared for small children. (i.e., there are no gates on stairways, etc.)
There is a small yard immediately surrounding the house, which guests are free to enjoy. We welcome you to a brief tour of our farm upon arrival during daylight hours, during which we can show you what areas are open for guests to explore.
We enjoy getting to know our guests, according to their desires and our availability. We live on a working farm, and our level of activity ebbs and flows with the seasons.
The basement is not remodeled to be usable space for guests. However, guests are welcome to access the washer and dryer that are at the bottom of the basement stairs.
