A large, sunny, private room, 3 single standard beds, toilet, whb and 2 showers (shared) in my riverside townhouse. Room 1 is on the top floor with stairs. Free substantial breakfast of prepared fruit, fresh scones, yogurt, honey, tea/coffee. On-street parking is free after 6.30pm-8.30am. Free N Driver Plate on request for my international guests.

A quiet terraced house on the riverside overlooking UCC and the UCC Mardyke Sports Centre. It is a 25 minute walk to the city centre and the same to Cork University Hospital.
2 bedrooms are offered on Airbnb. Both rooms have 3 standard single beds with 3 pillows, a private toilet and wash basin. There are 2 shared separate shower rooms with shampoo and hairdryer. Room 1 is a large, south facing room with a high view of the River Lee.
* Free and unlimited WiFi available throughout the house
* Tea/coffee making facility in each bedroom. A substantial FREE (vegetarian friendly) breakfast is included in the price.
Room 1 is suitable for 1, 2 or 3 people and the price is set per room.
The internal exposed roof beams and clever layout make the room spacious, inviting and unique. There are 3 single, very comfy beds with 3 pillows each, a wash basin, a private toilet and a shared shower room complete with shampoo and hair dryer. Be prepared to climb stairs for this wonderful experience, it will be worth it. Settle into a comfy bean bag while you check your mail via our broadband, (sufficiently fast to accommodate a conference call) and free at that!
Wildlife of an amazing variety can be observed from Room1, including occasionally -an adult seal! The private, south facing garden is for our guests to rest and recover in.
Late night pick up and drop off to the train/ bus station can be arranged. If driving, on-street parking is free after 6.30pm to 8.30am. Official City Parking discs are available for 8.30am/10.30 am @ 2euro.. Supervised, full day, off-street parking is available close by for €6 per day.
Check-in is at your convenience. Please remember to confirm approximate arrival times early in the day as I may have evening commitments, (that way we all win! ) Luggage may be left downstairs for later collection giving you a full day to check out our beautiful city.

I make my scones every morning, served with Irish butter and a choice of Irish sugar free Follain jams made in Cull Aoidh, County Cork. A bowl of prepared fruit with Irish yogurt and honey. French press coffee or Barrys tea. Green, decaf,or seasonal herbal teas from the garden are also available.
*Parking your car may be difficult if you arrive in darkness in Winter or, as city workers head home in the evening.
Gas boiler serviced in May 2019.

On the banks of the River Lee, at the edge of the city centre, Sunday's Well area is locate directly across the river from University College Cork, the Mardyke Sports Arena (swimming pool, coffee shop) and the Fitzgerald Park (Cork City Museum, playground, gardens and coffee shop). It lies between The Old City Gaol and the river. Sundays Well Road extends east to west from the city centre to the most westerly bridge of the city.
It is a narrow street in parts, passing through some of the most lovely of Victorian terraces and homes of that period. The are was developed during 1800 - 1850.
The river bank walk offers a great place to jog or walk, along which it is a 25 minute walk to the city centre. Other routes -10 minutes by car or bus no 208/214.
As the house is centre terrace and I have working neighbours, it is important to me that they are not disturbed. This is a quiet house without a television.
