The room is located within a five bedroom, two bathroom house, built in 1906, in Historic Hyde Park in the heart of thrilling! Kansas City, Missouri.
This house is called 'The Circus' because it's always been famous all the coming and going that happens around here. It's active, but also peaceful.
The home has also been called a sanctuary for those seeking a pace that differs from the 'outside' world. Guests have access to all of the comfort and luxuries of a modern American home, such as a kitchen, porch swing, garden, and a real life fireplace.
The location is within five to twelve minutes driving of Westport, KC Convention Center, the Plaza, downtown, Brookside, 39th street, and many more! About 25 minutes from the airport! Super Shuttle your bum here for $22 bucks. Uber and Lyft is also available. Easy bus access, reference intersection 39th and Troost.

ANIMALS:
Frank and Ned (Cats): love to eat, sit on your bed, and are indoor/outdoor. Please do not let outside at night or when weather is temperate. If you see them peering in, please open the door!
Other Airbnb guests may have pups or cats with them.
CLEANLINESS:
This is a home, not a hotel! If you are needing a super sterile, bleached cleaned environment, this isn't the place for you. We keep things as polished as we can, but there is a limit to how dust free a 120 year old home can be!
HEAT/COOLING:
It's an old structure and we use the central heating/cooling system to the best of it's ability. In the winter the indoor temp is around 68. In the summer the indoor temp is around 76. Dress warm/dress cool-- cause that's about the best we can do, folks!
Oil diffusers are commonly going in the house.

(mostly) Quiet streets with big beautiful trees.
Like any city, Kansas City can be dangerous, although I find the neighborhood to be comfortable, be aware of the block to block nature, and lock your cars/don't leave valuables visible!

Hi There! I'm Christi! I was born to create, connect, and dream. I work many jobs- actress, singer, dancer, dog walker, nanny, but mainly a business manager of Tippi Toes Dance Company. I seek to spread love, empathy, and hope. My home is a place where travelers can rest their heads, release their fears, and hopefully feel the peace in their heart-- all at an affordable price (that helps many actualize our dreams!)! And I love to find other airbnb's that cultivate a similar philosophy as me! Specifically for Guests: The Circus was created by lovely friend named Hailey a few years ago. It has created and continues to grow into a very unique community. In Fall 2017, she followed her dream of living in California (in a school bus on a mountain)... Now, after 10 years of being the owner, she has passed on The Circus to me, Christi. I have always been around the circus as a friend and caregiver and it has been my dream to actually own it. In May 2018, my dream came true! We have both been a vital part of cultivating the energy and environment to be what it is. The house and all the people in it are very dear to me. So it is my hope that you'll find family/friendship in the house as I have over the years! I look forward to when our paths cross!
