Hello Karim and thank you for your feedback. I’m very sorry that you had a bad experience at my place. However, I would like to highlight several things. 2 days before your check in date, you told me that you just discovered that it was a shared pool (even though it’s stated in the listing description), and tried everything you could to get a refund. You told me that you didn’t read the description of the place before booking it. Quite strange. Then, I did everything I could to accommodate you, and even offered you to move to a 3 bedrooms villa in prime location for way less than its real cost. You accepted. There was one dead light which was replaced immediately. The villa is regularly fogged to avoid mosquito infestation, and I even made it fogged one more time for you. I also offered mosquito repellent.
During your stay at the villa, you kept asking for a refund. I suspect that the bad review you wrote is related to the fact that I refused to refund you, following Airbnb rules. It’s been almost 10 years that I am hosting guests in my properties in Bali, and, sadly, I still (rarely) have guests that try to have accommodation for free, using the bad review as a threat.
About the sea view: it’s a sea view from the mezzanine, as you can see in the pictures.
About the “previous comments not being really accurate”, I remind you that only former guests can leave a review after their stay. That’s what makes Airbnb a safe and reliable place to choose an accommodation. It cannot be faked unlike on other websites.
I wish you all the best for the future.
