Welcome to my home. Both rooms are sunny with a queen sized bed, wardrobe, bedside lamps, bedside tables electric blankets. You have your own bathroom and toilet The house is shared with my grown up daughter and two small non shedding dogs. We have ocean views from the upstairs front deck and a tranquil garden area at the back
I provide a continental breakfast of tea/coffee, cereal, toast
Please note that if you are TWO people who require separate rooms you will need to book for THREE people

We have two double bedrooms, both with queen sized beds, very comfortable beds with nice linen and a lovely garden outlook from both rooms. Guests are welcome to share our common living space. The garden is fully fenced

We are not set up for guests to cook. Reheating in microwave is OK as long it is not spicy food as our house is open plan. Guests are welcome to consume takeaway food upstairs, however please do not use the kitchen after 7.30pm (unless it is to make a cup of tea or coffee). We have lots of dining choices close by to cater for all tastes and budgets. Please leave kitchen clean and tidy. Cups of tea coffee etc welcome at any time. We are happy for guests to enjoy our views on the upstairs deck or enjoy the peaceful back garden with a drink or two, but no parties.

Tauranga、豐盛灣(Bay Of Plenty)、紐西蘭
We are 10 minutes drive from the CBD and 15 minutes drive from the world renowned Mount Maunganui beach, famous for up or around the Mount walks. Check out the Mount Hotpools or the Aquatic Centre at at Bayfair. We are also close to a supermarket, a variety of cafes, bars and takeaways, the bus stop is just a couple of minutes walk. We are within easy walking distance of Fergusson Park where you can partake in kayaking, swimming and kite surfing. Fergusson Park is very pretty and has a playground and beautiful views to Mount Maunganui. There’s a convenience store and also a takeaway at Matua.
The Daisy Hardwick walkway or boardwalk is a 7km walk or run, it is very pretty and extremely popular - start at Maxwells Road which is a couple of minutes drive from Smiths Road, plenty of parking at Maxwells Road.
McLaren Falls is very pretty as is Kaiate Falls at Welcome Bay.
Walk up the Papamoa Hills and enjoy the beautiful views.
Many guests have used us as a base - 45 minutes to Hobbiton, 1 hour and 15 minutes to Whakatane and an hour to Rotorua, plus enjoy all that Tauranga and Mount Maunganui has to offer.
Please note that Matua is a lovely, up-market peaceful suburb within easy reach of Mount Maunganui and Tauranga CBD, however we are not within walking distance of restaurants, cafes, bars shopping in the city. Knowing this, please don’t rate us down for location.
