Make your St. Paul stay unique! Jetson's House, AKA George Pilmer House, is a unique cottage from the mind of Scottish-born plasterer, George Pilmer. This is a cozy one-bedroom iconic home on the AIA Guide to the Twin Cities by Larry Millett. This worker's cottage and "architectural folly" is located in a great neighborhood near shopping, Allianz Field, freeway access, and short driving distance to Concordia University, Macalester College, St. Thomas and St. Catherine University.

This is a small, but cozy and charming 1-bedroom worker's cottage, 790 sq ft, with a living room, dining room, kitchen, office nook, and bathroom. There is a small washer and dryer set (Euro size) in the basement.
The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and there are at least 3 grocery stores within 6 blocks. I have central forced air heat and AC. The bedroom bed is a very comfortable Queen memory foam mattress. The Serta brand couch folds into a full size bed and I have an additional memory foam mattress pad that you can add to the couch for a cozy, cushy night's sleep.

My house is located in St. Paul's Union Park neighborhood. I am located about 4 blocks from the I-94 Snelling Ave freeway entrance/exit. Snelling is a well-known street in St. Paul.
5 blocks away at the intersection of Snelling Ave and Selby Ave is a Whole Foods Market, Associated Bank, and 3 great restaurants (The Naughty Greek, O'Garas Bar and Restaurant, Neighborhood Cafe), 2 coffee shops (Starbucks and Cahoots Coffee), 2 great vintage stores (Lula and UpSix), and a gift store (Patina).
There's a great little restaurant down Selby called Augustine's that I highly recommend. They have a great happy hour.
I am very close to St. Paul's Midway area and all of the shopping that is offered there. There is a Cub Foods and Walmart 5 blocks away, and a Target about 8 blocks away.
Concordia University is about 4-5 blocks away.
Macalester College is 11 blocks away or a 5 minute drive.
Univeristy of St. Thomas is 22 blocks away or a 6-8 minute drive.
St. Catherine University AKA St. Kate's is 33 blocks away or an 8-10 minute drive.
Hamline Univeristy is 20 blocks away or a 5-6 minute drive.
The State Fair grounds are about 3 miles away or 11 minute drive.
The Saint Paul River Center (Convention Center) is 4 miles away or 10 minute drive.
My house is 4 miles from Downtown St. Paul and 7 miles from Downtown Minneapolis.
I am 2 miles from the Mississippi River, which is also the Minneapolis border.
