Nurture yourself in nature at this safe refuge, which includes the main house, The Bunkhouse, Dove Cottage, a glamping tent, and an airstream. You'll feel a sense of peacefulness just stepping foot on this sacred property. Leave your cares behind, recharge. There is WIFI, however, no TV.
Each rental has it's private space and is a fair distance.
The SEASONAL creek usually runs after the rains and until the hot summer. It varies from year to year.
You can hike, relax, nourish yourself

The property is very serene, and 25 minutes from restaurants, and grocery stores. You are away from the outside world. You can hike to the Los Padres Dam, about 1/4 mile, and the Carmel River, which is a five minute walk from the property. 1 Queen bed in bedroom, sofa/sleeper in living area. There is a private deck on the backside, which gives you complete privacy, and has a propane BBQ with a side burner. There is a handy outdoor sink for cleaning up.
We have one dog, Ruby, who is happy to welcome guests, and keeps a close eye on the surrounding area. It's a very safe refuge here, and our neighbors are an eclectic group of characters, that are very friendly.

You can walk around the property, there is another rental, a glamping tent and an airstream, (also rentals) and an old barn by the chicken coop and pond. Or just sit on the back private deck and take in mother nature. There is a large lawn area with a hammock behind the main house (where I live) that you can use.

I have 1 dog, that loves children, and loves to greet guests, and play fetch, 1 cat,,,doves, chickens and ducks, a 3 roosters! We are 45 minutes from the beach. We are 25 minutes to restaurants and shops which are located in the Carmel Valley Village. The road to get here is winding, take your time, and take it easy.

You can hike right out the front door to the Los Padres Dam or Carmel River. The neighborhood is friendly and safe, what more could you ask for?

I'm a country girl, singer songwriter living in the mountains above Carmel Valley, in a small area called Cachagua. I live on three acres of paradise, where the fog rarely lingers, and the wind, if any, only a slight breeze. Up here away from the "who's who, and what's what", I can totally unwind and recharge. In order to create, I like to be "away from it all". I wrote all the songs for my first album up here by the creek. My animals keep me smiling, and I'm so happy to share this property with others. I'm just a simple girl in a grown up world with a head full of dreams. I continue my dream here at Star Route. I'm constantly working on the property, because there is always something to do on the land. with the animals, or in the garden.
