Our carriage house has a large, private deck facing a rocky ridge with ferns, birds and woodland foliage. A charmingly appointed one bedroom apartment with a king sized bed, a full bath and a queen sized pull-out couch.
We disinfect all surfaces between guests stays, especially sanitizing doorknobs, drawer pulls, the toilet flush lever, faucet handles, remote controls, and light switches. We thoroughly wash towels and linens for each new guest and provide separate hand towels for each guest.

We live down a winding, single-lane dirt road. We have two small kids, a flock of chickens, one dog and cat to keep things interesting. We have a hiking trail right up the back of the property that links up to the Appalachian trail.
The kitchen has a microwave, hot plate, fridge, toaster-oven, hot water kettle and coffee maker.
While the apartment is pet-free, you may get an interested kitty on the deck to say hello to you!

Cold Spring village is 13 minutes away. Beacon is 30 minutes and Peekskill is 11 minutes. Garrison Art Center, Manitoga, Magazzino Italian Art, DIA Beacon, Hudson Valley Center for Contemporary Art, Hudson Valley Shakespeare festival, Boscobel House and Gardens and Stonecrop gardens are all very close for culture & art. Breakneck Ridge, Bear Mountain, and Fahnestock State Park are right here for hiking, not to mention the Appalachian trail that runs right behind the carriage house! And we happen to be 45 minutes to Storm King Art Center.

Our spot is very quiet and serene. We do have two tiny humans who tend to play in our fully fenced (separate from the apartment) yard so I can't say it's not without some children's voices here and there. But our kids are asleep 7PM on:) From time to time you can hear coyotes howling, wild turkeys gobbling and wood peckers pecking-wild nature is all around you here.
