Due to its location in the pedestrian zone there is no parking space directly in front of the apartment, however there is a payable parking lot called Slomškov trg, for which you can look up the prices and free parking hours on Acess for Guests.

Maribor is not only the capital of Štajerska region but it is also known for its beautiful and unique nature. Only 800m away there is the city park where you can take relaxing walks, walk up to our famous "Trije ribniki" - the three ponds and cool down on warm summer days . The park lies directly between our two very famous hills, Piramida and Kalvarija. Both are easily accessible and on top you can enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the city. About 5km southwards you can visit Pohorje, which is the only silicate mountain chain in Slovenia. Its breathtaking and unspoilt nature attracts people all over the world. It offers many possibilities for hiking, nordic walking and adrenaline junkies can take a ride on the mountain bike downhill course. During the wintertime, Pohorje is the best destination to go skiing, not only in Maribor, but also in Slovenia. Every year, the Golden Fox - FIS Ski World Cup for Women takes place on Pohorje and it attracts people, particularly ski enthusiasts from all over the world.
The highest coffee shop in Maribor is called Luft 360° which offers excellent pastry, drinks and a 360° view of Maribor.
You can also visit Vinag wine cellar - one of the largest and oldest wine cellars in Europe. It has 2,1 km long underground tunnels and a total area of 15.000m2.
If you are a history lover you definitely have to visit Lent, which is the oldest part of the city and home to the oldest grape vine in the world. There are many interesting sights on Lent, for example all the defence towers (Židovski stolp - Jewish Tower, Vodni stolp - Water Tower, Sodni stolp - Judgement Tower and Čeligijev stolp - Tscheligi Tower).
