Carole 出租的 出租套房裏的私人房間
2位旅人1間睡房2張床2間共用浴室
A spacious room with a peaceful view of pastures, and probably a horse or two. The walls are blue, but you won't be - plenty of books on the shelf. There's a large shared bath down the hall, large living room, and great outdoor spaces for you to enjoy. Breakfast items and coffee are available. At any moment a friendly dog or cat might greet you.
空間
Your room is light and bright and has a nice pastoral view. There is an extra-long twin bed and a double pull-out futon bed. It's spacious with shelves for your things and hooks behind the door for hanging items. The temperature can be controlled by opening the window or by using the wall-mounted thermostat. There are guide books and maps of Snohomish and Seattle just outside the door in the hall.
Your home for a day or as long as you want, is a 1901 country farm-style house sitting on a 1/3 acre of its own grass and surrounded on three sides by other people's grass. There is a long driveway where you can park your tractor, horse, or car. If you just want to sit and enjoy the green and the space, there are two porches (one with a swing) and a large deck in the backyard.
旅人進出權限
If you really want that 'home away from home' feeling, feel free to use the lawn mower and weed whacker. Or just go for the barbeque, the huge deck in the backyard, living and dining rooms, and of course the shared bathroom. Free WiFi is available throughout the house and you are welcome to use the large television in the living room. This is Washington State, the home of Starbucks, so there is always a way to get coffee here in this house.
其他注意事項
I have pets - 2 dogs and some cats. They don't own the house, but they like to think they rule it.
On an individual basis, I would consider hosting your cat or dog too.

The City of Snohomish is perfectly placed as a base for visiting Washington State. Of course you want to hang out in downtown Seattle and that is only 30 miles from Snohomish. Snohomish is a destination itself for casual and serious antiquers who also love good food, beautiful rivers, miles of biking and walking trails, and a great location to explore the "Other Washington'.
This is a great location if, after you have exhausted all the City of Seattle has to offer, you like to wind down in the evening with a walk, hike, or bike ride along the river or along the 26-mile foot and bike path Centennial Trail, which is within a 1/2 mile of the front door.
The downtown part of Snohomish on 1st Street is an antique-lover's dream, and only 1 mile away - a nice walk along part of the Centennial Trail. This is a small town that feels big. There are many restaurants including a Crepe place, a Pie place, several good places for ethnic food, a fine dining place, those great saloons and pubs any decent small town has, and even a place to eat lunch with your (well-behaved) dog.

I have owned a home for over 40 years and I have eaten breakfast during every single one of them. So it seems a natural progression to combine those two and share them with you. I love to travel (people pay me to take them on trips and I also take my own vacations) and I also like to stay home with my cats, dogs, garden, and all the terrific things that the Seattle area has to offer. Most of my tours are in the Canadian Rockies, the US National Parks, and to the east coast. The best part of having an Air B n B is that the world now comes to me too. And now, I want you to come visit me. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, with a decade-long detour to the east coast in the 2000s. But now that I am back out here, I am enjoying the things I love the most: driving without being honked at (I am a typical laid-back Seattleite who wears socks with sandals), cooking and barbecuing, walking and jogging with the dogs, hiking in the Cascades, volunteering at animal shelters, and giving personal tours around Seattle, the Woodinville wine country, and eastern Washington. When you are at my home, you are at your home. If you like cats and dogs; being close to the city (but not too close), within walking distance to Snohomish, which is a tourist destination in its own right for the antique lovers; so close to the wonderful Woodinville Wine Country that you can smell it (or maybe that's the farmer next door who uses the spent grapes as fertilizer); a one-hour hop to the Stevens Pass Ski Area, and a mere one-and-a-half hours to the quaint Bavarian village of Leavenworth, then this is the place for you.

I, or someone else, will be around when you are most of the time - I live here. I will not bug you, won't clean the room while you are in it, won't ask you to fold my laundry, but I love to get to know my guests. I am a tour guide, so I like to talk about Seattle, its history, and all the cool things to do in this state.
