Finca La Tierra is a natural, self-sufficient homestead set in the foothills of the Sierra de Gredos, just 100km from Madrid.
The house consists of 4 interconnected Earth Domes, a Kitchen, a living room,a bathroom and 2 bedrooms. In the grounds is another small dome used a bedroom, as well as a natural swimming pool, organic vegetable patch (help yourselves) and free range chickens.

La Finca is the home of Sam and Mari. The digging and moving and stamping of earth started in 2012 and with the help of countless volunteers, students, friends and colleagues have managed to built up a beautiful and almost self-sufficient homestead.

Sam and Mari have a small dome in another part of the finca, so the only shared space is the swimming pool.

The whole place is designed to be self-sufficient, with solar panels, fresh water wells, and organic food produce. The beautiful house inspires calm and peacefulness, as well as creativity.
