Truly a home from home, with all you need for a comfortable stay, this 2 bedroom cosy terraced house is just 3 miles from York city centre. The immediate local area benefits from a supermarket, pubs, restaurants, bakeries, artisan delicatessens, salons and pharmacies. There are buses every 15 minutes into the city centre or it's easy to call a taxi. The walk is pleasant too if you fancy it! Although a terraced property, there is still a peaceful garden to relax in.

Upstairs there are two bedrooms which sleep up to 4 guests. Both bedrooms have wardrobes. The ample living space consists of an open living room and dining room, with the living room equipped for cosy nights in with a large corner sofa and smart TV and the dining area comprising a large table and 4 chairs. The kitchen is newly fitted with modern appliances, encouraging you to make the most of your self catering stay. The fully tiled bathroom is downstairs with a power shower over bath and heated towel rail.
Outside there is a quaint garden with astroturf and outside seating if you fancy dining al fresco or enjoying a glass of vino at the end of your evening. In nicer weather why not grab a disposable BBQ from the local supermarket and enjoy the light nights.

The whole house and garden are accessible to guests. You have the property to yourselves when you stay here so you can really make yourself at home. We also use a professional cleaning company in between guests, so you can be assured of a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene. Linen and towels are also professionally laundered.

The house is fully equipped with everything you could need in terms of kitchen appliances and utensils, oven and hob, microwave and kettle, as well essentials such as an iron, ironing board, clothes airer etc. There is a smart TV in the living room if you fancy a night in and we provide a welcome basket of teas, coffees, biscuits and a pint of fresh milk so that you can make yourself a brew when you arrive. There are travel size eco friendly toiletries in the bathroom as well as toilet roll. There are two towels provided per guest and there is a washing machine should you need it. If your stay is longer than a week and you would like to arrange a change of bedding and towels feel free to ask.

The beautiful city of York offers a wealth of restaurants and bars, as well as our amazing York Minster, nightly ghost walking tours and York's chocolate story - a museum dedicated to our chocolate loving heritage.
My home is in the suburb of Acomb, West of the city centre. Within walking distance there is an Indian restaurant, 3 pubs, various cafes, a wine bar, playpark, large supermarket, pharmacy, butchers, bakers, greengrocers and delicatessens.
Further afield there are many neighbouring towns home to English Heritage sites, country walks, lavender fields, sculpture parks and much more. Inside the property there is a guide to my favourite restaurants and tourist attractions.

I live in Dubai but you can contact me...just remember I am 3 to 4 hours ahead. I do however have a professional housekeeper who is rarely far away if you have any issues - phone numbers and emails will be provided on booking. I also used to live in the house and lived locally for 30 years, so my knowledge of the area is extensive. Should you need any recommendations or where to go or what to do please reach out.
