Please note that this apartment is a living place and not a hotel room or a place only rented for tourists. That means there are many books, records, products and things of common use. Also drawers and cupboards are full of clothes. However, if you do need some space, please just let us know and we will be glad to free some space on demand.
This is a sunny, cozy and colourful apartment with garden in the heart of Montreal. It’s located in the Mile-End area, part of le Plateau Mont-Royal, one of the nicest neighbourhood near downtown Montréal.
Metro is about 5 minutes away (Rosemont) or 10 minutes (Laurier). Downtown is about 15 minutes by metro or bus. There are also Bixi stations around (public bicycle sharing system). You can easily park your car in the street just in front of the house but be careful to check the right side of the road. There is one for residents only.
The apartment has a big double bedroom with a closed private living room that contains a queen size bed, a working desk, a big couch (huge actually!), a wide screen TV, a DVD player and a stereo sound system. There is also a smaller bedroom with a double futon and a working desk. There is a second living room (shared) with another sound system.
You can rent the entire place with two bedrooms or one of the two bedrooms separately. This listing is for the big double room with private living room.

It is full equipped with kitchen, washer/dryer, bathroom (tub with spa and shower), Wi-Fi Internet, etc.
The garden has fruit trees, lawn and a shadowed pergola with tables and seats. The BBQ is at guest's disposal.
Mount-Royal park (Montrealers call it “the Mountain”) is only at 15 minutes walk where you can take a leisurely walk up gravel pathways leading to the best views of the entire Montreal area. If you like shopping, St-Laurent street (“the Main”), Saint-Viateur and Bernard streets are 2 minutes away and Saint-Denis is 10 minutes. Little Italy and its restaurants are 5 minutes away North.
