Dear Dirk, the parking outside the building is public not private and it's FREE, as stated in the ad! Indeed, white lines that outline the parking spot tells you that the parking is free, when you see blu lines, instead, you have to pay. The parking outside the building and the one close to the building (100 mt not 600 mt as you said) are totally free. Now, if you park your car in THE MIDDLE OF THE PARKING LOT OUTSIDE THE DESIGNATED AREA, EXPECT TO GET A THICKET, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN A CIVILIZED COUNTRY. I find it outrageous that you even dare to ask for a refund of your thicket as a result of your misbehavior. I don't see what else I could do, if not participate with you in you being upset for the thicket and help you by telling where you could easily pay your fine, which by the way was 28 euros if payed within 5 days (as I could see from the picture of the ticket that you sent me) and not 41 euros as you are mentioning. You are manipulating information deliberately. You are even forgetting to mention that you managed to park your car several other times right outside the car gate of the building on the left side, as I have seen it with my eyes since. How come you are not mentioning that? About the distance from the center: thank God there are so many other reviews that talk exactly about this issue and had a complete different experience from what you describe. My flat is close to Battistini station (main line of Subway A) and in order to get to the Battistini you can get the bus right outside the flat and be there in 8 minutes. Now, you can easily check the require travel time if you go on (Hidden by Airbnb) and calculate the following:
