Travel restrictions
Due to COVID-19 there are lockdowns in place across the UK and travel is not permitted other than in limited circumstances until at least April. Failure to follow the law is a criminal offence.
Summer House room only. Toilet/Bathroom in the main house across the patio. If not booked, the Bedroom in the house would be available if the weather is bad. The room is secluded and separate from the main house with separate entrance. Internet access, kettle and everything for tea and coffee. PIR lights outside house and chalet. Breakfast is included. Own private driveway and parking. Tiverton Hospital is 10 minutes drive.

An ideal place to stay for business trips with easy access to Exeter, Taunton, North and South Devon, being 5 minutes from the M5 and A361 and Tiverton Hospital is 10 minutes drive away, making it a great retreat for hospital workers. A lovely place to wind down after a busy day. Tea and Coffee making facilities are provided along with towels. The room has a large chest of drawers and hanging space. The bathroom in the main house is shared and there is space in the large bathroom cupboard for all your toiletries. Breakfast is on a help yourself basis consisting of cereals, toast and fruit juice. This will be in the Kitchen. There are plates and cutlery available should guests wish to eat a take away.

There is a living room (sunny room) in the main house for your use with TV, sofa, chair, plenty of books and door to garden. You are welcome to sit and eat in here at any time and use it for chilling. You may be sharing this space with another guest if the house guest room is booked out.

This is an ideal place to stay for business trips with easy access to Exeter, Taunton, North and South Devon, being 5 minutes from the M5 and A361. Tiverton Hospital is 10 minutes drive away, making it a great retreat for hospital workers. There is private parking for 2 cars and breakfast is provided. An ideal place to wind down after a busy day.
This is a good base for walking and cycling and bicycles are welcome and can be kept secure in the lock up shed, or you can hire bike from the cycle hire 2 miles up the road.

Halberton is ideally situated in Mid Devon between the towns of Tiverton and Cullompton with easy access to Exeter, Taunton and North and South Devon. Tiverton Hospital is 10 minutes drive away There is a lovely pub in the village providing food just a 2-minute walk from the house. There are other places to eat just a short drive away. National Trust properties of Knightshayes and Killerton are both easily accessible. The Great Western Canal winds through the village and there is a wonderful 5km (3 mile) circular walk/run from the front door of the cottage. The Canal is 11 miles long and Halberton is ideally situated as a cycling destination in Devon.

Independent free spirit, life is good. Enjoy experiencing new places, food, life styles and cultures. Prefer being in the community and not shut up in an anonymous hotel!

I'm available during the evenings and am happy to interact with guests if wanted, but respect their privacy too. Access to the main house and summer house is available using a key lock box for the house and keys to the summer house/main house. I will also provide phone numbers for guests to contact me.
