Imagine your next stay at the Miles Behind Log Cabin. This is a gathering place with fabulous surroundings on 40 acres, only a short 10 minute drive to downtown Winter Park. Three bedrooms plus a loft providing accommodations for up to 11 people. The open space of the family room, dining and kitchen with the loft allows guests to enjoy the living area of the cabin. This area has 4 access points to the outside decks, including the front entry with porch swing, wrap around deck with the outdoor hot tub and the loft balcony. Being at Miles Behind will leave you impressed with the sounds of silence and the amount of stars that can fill the night sky. Bring fido too – this cabin is pet friendly!

Please note, a 4-Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicle or one with snow tires is helpful to get to this home with bigger snows.
Bedding: King in master, Queen in 2nd room, bunk room with twins plus a trundle in 3rd bedroom, futon plus a Double bed in the loft.

Location: Tabernash, this custom log home was built off the grid in 1998.

COVID Housekeeping: All of our cleaning standards and products are aligned with VRMA, WHO and CDC.
NO SMOKING ALLOWED. Homeowner Association rules do not permit guests to smoke. These rules are strictly enforced. Guests will be fined $200 per day if they smoke on the property.

Please note due to Covid-19 restrictions the hours above and or the clubhouse might be affected and or closed. Please call us to verify the best way to process your checking.

We are laundering all bedding in our commercial washers and dryers after each guest stay. All bedding is double sheeted.
All products in the vacation rental for guest use will be individually wrapped for protection.
There will be a 24 hour (1 day) gap between reservations.
We will implement keyless entry or secured lock box for entry to all vacation rentals.
Our staff will have new PPE and wear masks, protective gloves and shoe coverings.
