Located in the heart of Willemstad (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997), Downtown Punda, about 500 meters from Queen Emma Bridge "The old swingin lady", this quaint studio is located within the inner part of the building and has a combination of Carribean-urban inspired decor. The property is 5 km from Curacao Sea Aquarium and 7 km from Jan Thiel Beach and only 3 minutes walk to the Marichi pier/beach, a stunning beach with crystal clear blue waters.

When we rescued this old building that was once a hardware store, the oldest in the city center, we decided to recycle many of the materials that were left of the hardware store and that is why part of the decoration is made with that, the kitchen mosaics and the bathroom mirror frame are an example, the closets were made with the woods that were left in the warehouse and of course with details that we bought to make this studio a pleasant place for your stay. Amenities include a queen size bed, a bathroom with shower heater and it’s own detached kitchen to complete the homey vibe. This studio is a bit dark, for those who like to be very dark at bedtime ;-), but with all that it still has its charm.

-ELECTRICITY
The electricity is based on a prepaid system. Upon arrival, you will receive 10kw per day, which will be sufficient for your entire stay with normal normal use of electricity. (using the air conditioner 8 hours per day). The additional usage is on your own expense.
-CLEANING
Doe to the coronavirus, we’re taking extra care to disinfect frequently touched surfaces between reservations.
With a stay of one (1) week or longer you have a complementary cleaning a week, if extra cleaning requested, the cost will be $25 and is requested to be paid as soon the cleaning is completed.
-LAUNDRY SERVICE
The host will assist you with your laundry. It will be picked up in the early morning and returned the next day. An EXTRA CHARGE of Nafl.10,- (US$ 5,5-) will be added to the receipt.
-PARKING
Parking lot is NOT AVAILABLE in the property.
But you do have public parking meters in front of the building that from Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. you pay Naf.1,- (US$ 0,5-)/hour;
Free on evenings, Sundays and all local national holidays.
A 2nd option is the Pietermaai Parking Garage, where you can always find a space and is only 2 min walking from the OK93 Studios.

Punda was the first town to be established after the arrival of the Dutch. In our history this was a walled city which holds the oldest buildings on the island including the oldest synagogue still in use today in the Americas, including museums, local food at the old market (Plasa Bieu), the governor’s palace, the oldest protestant church of Curaçao, a crystal clear water beach just 3 minutes away from the studio, the Pietermaai District is a must-visit destination for nightlife, entertainment and fine dining and is just minutes walking from the studio and many more rich cultural sites which you can visit while on a leisurely stroll.

I am a graphic designer, married since 1995 and father of 3 wonderful daughters. In 2017 my wife, our 2 best friends and I decided to buy and renew an old building and transform it into a 8-unit complex of which 4 studios are available to holiday vacationers. Located in the heart of Willemstad (UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1997), Downtown Punda. This historical structure draws inspiration from its 150 years of existence. Once a family house, the first floor of the building was a hardware store and eventually transformed into “Otro Kas” which means “another house” in the local language. For me it will be a pleasure to be your host at OK93 Studios, a place to call home in the island of Curaçao.
