空間
The Inn At Crippen Creek Farm is a 15 acre organic farm nestled in a quiet, remote valley in the Willapa Hills. Our guests love the gourmet food, they are charmed by the animals but I think it is the quietness that speaks loudest to them. However we do have our unique country noises from coyotes, owls, tree frogs and roosters. Most of our guests tell us that they sleep so well they don't notice them and if they do they find it a refreshing change of pace from urban sirens, traffic and garbage trucks.

Our guests are free to gather in the great room or the screened porch, stroll about our 15 acres, sit by the creek or play a game of bocce on our bocce court. Some guests like to participate in farm chores so ask if you are interested collecting eggs, weeding the garden or harvesting fruits and vegetables.
Check in: 3:00 p.m.
Breakfast: 8:30 a.m.
Check out: 11:00 a.m.
其他注意事項
Our county is small...there is not even one stop light in our county. Dining options are pretty much limited to small town diner fare so if you are looking for a special food experience, ask about our optional gourmet dinners. We can also provide recommendations for dining and sight seeing in nearby Astoria and the Long Beach Peninsula. We have fabulous kayaking in the area with world class guides.

We love the quiet and lack of traffic. No sirens, no booming stereos. We can count on one hand the number of vehicles that we see while on a walk or bike ride. A morning walk is a real treat.

Hospitality and good cooking have long been our passions, both personally and professionally. Over the years, we have enjoyed many good meals and conversations at our family table. Professionally, we took great pride in the food we provided when we owned and operated Mangiamo! Catering in Portland, Oregon. However, there comes a time to heed a different call. That call came from a John Prine song that encouraged us to…”blow up your tv, throw away the paper, move to country, and build you a home.” We answered the call and discovered this hidden jewel called Skamokawa (ska-mock-away.) The beauty and silence that this valley provides were absolutely magical for us and we find ourselves eager to share its charm with our family, friends and wayfaring strangers as a place to rest, reflect and be renewed. On our secluded 15 acres we attempt organic gardening, raise our own meat and passionately pursue a more contemplative life. We enjoy hosting guests in our small country inn. Kitty beautifies our home with her fiber art...needle-pointing, rug hooking and knitting. The kitchen is Don’s domain where he loves preparing classic dishes from around the world.

Guests are welcome to be as reclusive or as social as they wish. Many like to sit at the counter as Don prepares a meal or sign up for a cooking class and participate in the meal preparation.
