We recently remodeled the duplex and hope you enjoy it. Each side of our raised duplex sleeps 4 comfortably and is just a short walk to the beach. From the back deck you can relax and drink your coffee and see the water. Downstairs we have a great patio area with tables, chairs, a hammock, and a grill. Plus a grassy backyard for pets and children. Yes, we DO take pets!!! There is a $25 fee per dog and cissy, our co host will leave an envelope for you on the kitchen counter.

Our home is divided in to two units. Each unit has two bedrooms, 1 bath, and a fully stocked kitchen. The covered patio downstairs offers outdoor relaxation rain or shine. If you have a large group, you can plan it so family and friends can rent the other side.

Please note that even though the town is dog friendly, they do require they are on a leash and you pick up after them.( We have a $25.00 per fee that you can leave in the envelope provided). Signs are posted all around the island to let you know their rules and any restrictions.

Our beach home is centrally located on the island with a short walk to the public beach and restaurants. We are adjacent to the island bike trail which makes everything on the island just a short ride a way.

Hi! We are a couple from Michigan that purchased this duplex in 2018. We have been camping at Pelican’s Nest for several years until we decided to purchase a place of our own! The Island is a very special place and the people are the most caring, friendly and respectful in all the world!! We come down a couple times a year as we continue to update and renovate! And mostly to enjoy what Dauphin Island has to offer! We love walking the beach and looking for treasures! (Take a bag along and pick up garbage to help keep our beaches clean)! We enjoy the golf course, putt putt, riding bikes, walking our fur baby and playing downstairs. We love all the restaurants but a few favorites are Pirates, Skinners and Chevron pizza! We hope you enjoy our place as much as we do! And Cissy, our friend and manager is one of a kind Special!! Relax, have fun, enjoy and make memories!
