Glad you enjoyed your stay and thanks for your comments! Yes, our house was built in the 1860's so it's quite old! I agree that the bathrooms on the second floor could use an updating. As you may have noticed, one bathroom is in the midst of a complete renovation. The other bathroom was last renovated in the 1980's so it could use some updating as well. It is next on the list but it is fully functional and we clean it regularly. We like the old world charm of the third floor bathroom with it's clawfoot bathtub, wood floors and marble sink, so we plan on keeping that as is. We recently replaced the toilet and bathtub fixtures and had the bathtub refinished, so everything is working and kept clean.
