A semi-detached property, adjacent to the owners, in peaceful Ainthorpe. Cowl Banks Cottage is fully equipped for your stay, whether it be a couple of days, or weeks! We pride ourselves upon it being your own home from home, in North Yorkshire. It has an ample sized living room with freeview TV and the glorious country views. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need, including the resident horse who will stick his head in if you're offering a carrot or 2!! Also on the ground floor is a porch and toilet. On the first floor there is a cosy double room with TV, a single bedroom and newly refurbished walk-in shower, with basin and toilet.
The second floor is a spacious double room.
The property boasts a patio area with picnic table and a large garden to relax in.
**Last year we were particularly lucky to have barn owls in our nest box particularly close to the property. They provided fantastic opportunities to watch them hunt in the surrounding farmland. We are hoping they chose to come back this spring- fingers crossed!!**
The Cottage is accessible for guests throughout, including a parking space beside the owner's property. The patio and garden are for guest's private use.
Owners live next door and in most situations will be available to meet guests upon arrival. We like guests to feel as if the Cottage is their own space. At the same time we are more than happy to answer an queries/ questions about the area throughout the stay- just give us a knock!
The property is owned by Michelle and Graeme. However, Emily will manage the account and make most communication via AirBnB.
A tumble dryer is available upon request.
Otherwise there is a washing line that can be erected in the garden.
Although we have Superfast Broadband at Cowl Banks there is limited phone coverage in most of the Esk Valley.
The EE network is generally covered although other providers will not be available until you go to local towns.
Please treat it as if it's your own :)
We are not in the position to allow pets, sorry.
