We want to host you. We’ll help make your stay as pleasing as possible. How is that achieved-- through good memories. You'll be sleeping in a comfortable bed with your own small, private bathroom. We're on a nice quiet street in Marina, CA-- right in the middle of Monterey Bay, great for exploring from Santa Cruz to Big Sur. Do check the location map, though. Staying in the central bay is less expensive and requires short drives to the Carmel/Monterey tourist sites (typically 15-20 minutes).

The house has an open feel to it, so you won't feel crowded. Most guests are out all day having fun, so our simple, spacious ranch style house is a great safe, quiet and comfortable place to rest when you get back. If you want to cook, we have a big kitchen with all the amenities. We have ample parking and fast wifi. If you are in town for business, we have a printer and a copy machine.

Our street has a mix of families and professionals who are very friendly. The area is very walkable with the Marina transportation hub 5 minutes away, and the downtown area of grocery stores, restaurants, and shops a 10 minute walk. Most people exploring the area still drive since the tourist sites are a few miles away.
Marina is usually not a destination in and of itself, but it's the 10th most ethnically diverse city in all of California, so if you are interested in food from various regions, this is the spot. Many of the family run restaurants are some of the best across Monterey Bay.

My wife and I are very active Californians. We experience new places all the time. We’ll share our knowledge with you-- what to do, where to eat, and when to go. If you know what you already want to do, we give you your privacy. Marina is an ideal location for exploring all of the bay from Santa Cruz to Big Sur. Without traffic, you can be in Monterey or Carmel in 15 minutes, Santa Cruz in 35 minutes and Big Sur in an hour. Great whale watching in Moss Landing is 10 minutes away. If you are continuing a journey to other places in California, feel free to ask for advice. I’ve lived in the Bay Area, am a native Southern Californian, and now reside on the Central Coast. There are gems all along the way.
