Jennifer and I plainly did not feel comfortable with one another . I had an uneasy feeling about them the moment they arrived . They did explain that they would be driving an old truck with a broken window and was concerned about it's safety . I assured them there were no issues with the security of their vehicle . I had written to them several times in reference to meeting us at our bike shop located on the main boulevard . We also mentioned and our listing states the condition of the complex as it is under renovations . We check in all guests and WE go through EVERY rental property including wi fi and house rules as I did with Jenifer .The unit had recently been painted and all linens , towels , pots , curtains and NUMEROUS other items are new . The condo and all of our condos are thoroughly cleaned by 3 professional maids and then the unit is inspected . I personally think they expected that the pool outside the unit was the pool for their use . There is a pool available for guests use while the pool outside the unit is being repaired . This is also explained in the listing . I did refund the entire amount that we were paid by AIRBNB and offered her another condominium . She did reply that she had a free place to stay and will be staying there instead . It seemed a bit fishy but we refund guests who don't want to stay in a condo because of any reason that pertains to the unit not being acceptable . In Jennifer's case we refunded her the entire amount that we received from AIRBNB . .
