In the middle of Quercy, you will enjoy the quietness of the countryside in this old typical house with a 16th century tower, near many beautiful tourist landmarks !
空間 Inside this 19th century house you will appreciate the coolness during the summer thanks to thick stone walls. The most ancient part of the house, the defense tower and its slate roof are from the 16th century. In the middle ot the wide garden, you will be protected of the outside look by the dense vegetation, where you will enjoy a rare quietness. In the house, there are three bedrooms, a lounge, a kitchen, and a bathroom. In the ground floor bedroom you will find and ancient beehive ( with no bees inside of it !) as an old witness of the beekeeping activities of the area. The two other bedrooms are located upstairs, in the attic, under a typical oak framework. The larger bedroom adjoins the tower where there is a baby's cot. The kitchen and the lounge open onto the garden and its many trees, constituting a calming view and atmosphere. In Salviac, a little village of 1000 inhabitants, you will have access to everyday services (groceries, bakeries, public swimming pool, doctors, drugstore...)
Salviac is located in a touristic area near the Dordogne valley, Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Sarlat, Padirac, Cahors... You will have the pleasure to discover medieval, prehistoric or natural places.
