Free WiFi in-room.The extra length king-sized bed has a good quality extra depth mattress - can be made into twin beds, with 24-hour prior request. Heat and eat facility: bar fridge, microwave, toaster, plates, cutlery. In the wardrobe is an iron + ironing board; bathrobe + hairdryer. TV with select DSTV channels. Guests are encouraged to explore our magnificent garden and are welcome to use the swimming pool. Breakfast available on request at R150- per person. Off-street parking.

In 1996 we had the property listed with the National Monument’s Council and took up the challenge to restore the old farmhouse – always bearing in mind that the challenge in restoring and maintaining any old building remains to stay true to the authenticity of the structure. We are particularly proud of the garden which has formal elements in keeping with the Georgian style of the house, but also more informal flowerbeds with perennials, a small orchard, and a spectacular rose garden.

We bought Fairview in 1994 -the restoration and upkeep has been an ongoing labour of love. We love sharing our beautiful historic home and Desmond's garden with our guests.
