The Red House
Our two bed, contemporary, newly renovated 17th century townhouse sits in one of the most sought after cobbled streets, within the city walls in the heart of the city centre, metres away from cool coffee shops, restaurants, bars and the iconic racecourse.

The Red House, as it is known locally, is a quirky 3 storey townhouse, bringing a fusion of 17th century charm with contemporary cool following a recent renovation; this urban space has been used as a warehouse, purportedly as a drinking house, and now as a place to rest and play within the city walls in the heart of this vibrant city.
This beautiful property includes on its top floor, two large bedrooms (one with king size bed) both with ample storage space and high quality Egyptian cotton sheets; a modern bathroom that includes a stand alone bath and a powerful shower.
On the middle floor, you will find a large lounge housing two upholstered velvet sofas, a coffee table, large plasma television and a collection of books for your reading pleasure.
On the ground floor there's an open plan kitchen diner and a utility room.
The kitchen includes brand new white goods including a washing machine/tumble drier, dishwasher, fridge freezer, toaster, kettle, integrated hob and oven and a microwave.
The dining room includes a dining table and chairs and two wing back armchairs.
The utility room includes a further large fridge freezer and ironing board and iron and a travel cot and high chair.
Off the hallway, there is another bathroom and cloakroom.
At the rear of the property you find a convenient parking space which is included in the listing, right in the heart of the city; directions are set out elsewhere in this listing.

Guests have unlimited use of the entire townhouse and its convenient parking space.

We pride ourselves on making your stay in our beautiful and unique city as memorable as we can; we want you to come back and enjoy our city as much as we do.
Please note we supply coffee and tea bags and if you want to cook, oil, salt and pepper.
You might also find a welcome bottle of something to kick start your trip to our lovely city and home.
On a toiletry front, we include shower gel and hand soap and toilet rolls and nice big fluffy towels.
If there's anything else you need, two supermarkets are within a two minute walk.
Oh and yes, there's also a hair dryer.
Please note that whilst we pride ourselves on being pretty relaxed, we regret that we do not allow pets or smoking in the Red House and definitely not smoking pets; they're just socially unacceptable and a bit smelly.
