Hello, I'm Kathleen. I am a Food, Beverage and Hospitality professional and I just love being a hostess. And how lucky am I to have two super interesting and very unique places I get to call home!?! When I started hosting I thought it would be a fun way to earn extra money to support the start-up of my next chapter and help pay for grad school. After all, I have a degree in Hospitality Management. I quickly realized it is also another part of my calling. I love having guests in my homes and being able to provide them with a comfortable getaway. I host from a townhome on quirky Folly Beach, SC - which I lovingly refer to as The Tipsy Pearl, a place that is now my home away from home. I live in Baltimore, MD, where I host guests in in my beautiful row home built in 1900 in the Upper Fells neighborhood. So, I usually remote host my entire home in Folly Beach (unless I'm there visiting, then I sometimes host from the two private rooms) with the help of a lovely caretaker for my home who lives on the island and great neighbors. I'm happy to share my love for both the Folly Beach and Upper Fells communities. Both Charleston and Baltimore have incredible things to see and explore. I'm particularly passionate about wonderful food, restaurants and local producers. I can recommend lots of things to do or help you find what you are looking for in your stay.
